Core 1
Use human relations theories effectively to develop and maintain a vision that enhances
productive relationships with others
Evidence
ReflectionThroughout the program, I learned to apply human relations theories as a foundation for building and maintaining positive, productive relationships within educational settings. Through the Culture Change discussion and the Improvement and Accountability project, I gained deeper insight into how leadership decisions influence school culture, collaboration, and shared vision. By exploring and applying various theories to real-world scenarios, I strengthened my ability to identify and address problems of practice through empathy, communication, and systems thinking. These experiences emphasized that effective leadership requires not only a clear vision but also the interpersonal skills to engage others in achieving it. This foundation reinforced my belief that sustainable improvement depends on trust, transparency, and the ability to cultivate relationships rooted in mutual respect. I now approach leadership with a stronger understanding of how human relations theory informs every aspect of decision-making and vision implementation. |
