Develop and maintain school climates that support improvement in curriculum, instruction,
and student learning

Reflection

Developing and maintaining a positive school climate that supports curriculum and instructional improvement requires intentional leadership grounded in collaboration, reflection, and continuous learning. Through my work in EDLE 530/710, I designed and implemented Online Professional Development and Digital Portfolio models that empowered educators to track growth and showcase evidence of student learning.

My job-embedded experiences through the LaTech Training Portal and COE Hub Website extended this work, creating systems for faculty collaboration, content sharing, and leadership development. These platforms supported a culture of transparency and professional dialogue, both of which are essential for sustained instructional improvement.

The featured Padlet resource – Getting Started with Google Classroom demonstrates my commitment to developing accessible, technology-enhanced environments that promote engagement and ease of implementation. By integrating these digital tools with principles of adult learning and organizational change, I contributed to climates that prioritize innovation, inclusivity, and the shared goal of enhancing learning for all students.
