Plan, implement, manage, and evaluate change using a collaborative approach and
incorporating the talents and abilities of various stakeholders
Evidence
ReflectionChange is both a constant and a catalyst in educational leadership. My experiences throughout the Doctorate in Educational Leadership program have strengthened my ability to plan, implement, and evaluate change collaboratively while valuing the diverse expertise of stakeholders. In EDLE 530/710, I developed Online Professional Development and Digital Portfolio models that provided faculty and staff with opportunities to grow and lead from within their professional contexts. These initiatives required planning, stakeholder engagement, and iterative evaluation to ensure alignment with institutional goals and learner needs. Through my job-embedded leadership work with the LaTech Training Portal, COE Hub Website, and University of Louisiana System Training, I applied change theory to design and manage large-scale digital learning ecosystems. Each project demanded collaborative decision-making, technical coordination, and clear communication to sustain engagement across multiple departments and institutions. This standard aligns closely with my dissertation’s theoretical framework—Situational Leadership Theory—which emphasizes flexibility, collaboration, and responsiveness to team readiness. By empowering others to contribute their unique strengths, I have learned that meaningful change occurs not through control, but through shared leadership and purposeful design. |
