Reflection
Building a student-centered learning community, one that values the contributions of both faculty and students, has been a consistent focus in my work. Program assignments that encouraged authentic topic choice and analysis helped me connect human relations theory with day-to-day practices that foster belonging, engagement, and shared ownership of learning.
Through EDLE 736 – Technology Integration in Education, I demonstrated how purposeful use of technology can amplify student voice and differentiate supports, aligning tools with pedagogy to keep students at the center. In the EDLE 701 Critique, I examined inquiry-based instruction as a structure for recognizing individual and group strengths while advancing rigorous learning goals. My job-embedded work in the LaTech Training Portal extended these ideas into practice by designing and facilitating courses that elevate faculty expertise and create supportive pathways for continuous improvement.
Together, these experiences strengthened my ability to articulate and implement a student-centered vision, apply human resource skills to cultivate positive culture, and recognize the contributions of all stakeholders in ways that measurably enhance student learning.
