You walk into your classroom and what do you find? If it is a new classroom, you probably see four walls, bulletins boards, possibly some textbooks, and a teacher computer. If you are lucky you have inherited a projector or large tv.
When I walked into my current school 15 years ago, there was a teacher tv and channel one tv. Year-by-year and grant-by-grant this class was built to include a student computer center, class set of Palms, Smartboard, Response System, and projector. My current teaching assignment, Computer Education, includes a computer lab which seems like a dream come true, except things get old, funds get cut, and you can find your way make to square one frequently.
